It's official, we found out Monday that our newest addition will be a little boy! We are so excited to add another little boy to our family. He gave us a clear shot of his boy stuff right away, but didn't want us to get a good look at his face. This is as good as we could get! He looks healthy and like everything is going smoothly. We can't wait to meet this little guy in January. I know so many of you have been praying for him already, thank you so much! We are now trying to come up with a name for our little guy, so if you have any suggestions, please pass them on.

Big Helper
Lately, Mason is a huge helper around the house. As you can see in the picture above, all of his cousins keep him pretty busy. Last weekend his cousin Jackson was in town, along with the girls, so he had a lot of entertaining to do. He also is a great helper with dinner. He enjoyed shucking the corn for dinner for the whole family. The "hairs" on the corn were especially intriguing. And just this morning I found him sweeping up all of his snakes on the kitchen floor. What more could I ask for, I have a great, big helper!

5 Years!
It is hard to believe we have been married 5 years already! My sweet husband surprised me this weekend with a getaway to the Horseshoe Bay Resort and Spa. We spent the whole weekend relaxing. Scott had a day of spa treatments lined up for me on Saturday and incredible dinners in the evening. I am blessed with an amazing husband. Happy 5th Anniversary, Scott!

July Fun!
It's been a while since I posted last, but lots has been going on. We went to a family reunion at the lake and Mason rode the jet ski with Daddy. He liked sitting on it while it wasn't moving a little better than when he was moving across the lake. But he looks like a pro already, doesn't he?
We have also been hanging out with our friends. We went to dinner at On the Border with the Wests. Mason and Waverley entertained each other while the adults got to visit a bit.
Then, Phyllis and Tyler came over to play one afternoon. Tyler and Mason played cars and rolled the ball around for a while. They had a blast!
This past weekend we took Mason to the Austin Children's Museum. He LOVED it! He was running from one exhibit to another. He couldn't decide which one to look at first. Scott and Mason both enjoyed watching the washers twist down and make lots of noise at this exhibit.
Mason also got to play vet with a puppy that looked like Cash. Also in this exhibit was a station that let you listen to the heartbeats of different animals. It was really cute!
Another exhibit Mason enjoyed was the gears. The gears were on huge magnets so you could move them around to make different configurations, then test them out. He spent quite a while working at this station. He is quite a little thinker!
This week my little cousins are here helping me with Mason. They have been such a huge help so far. Right now they are in his room reading to him and playing with Play-Doh. It is so nice to have such wonderful family that will spend their time helping others. Thanks Lainie and Rachel! Love ya!

He got to climb on the fire truck and look at the giant water hoses.

What a week!
Here are some pics from the week. Scott and Mason enjoyed Father's Day by eating snacks and watching some tv, playing outside and relaxing. Mason has also enjoyed painting with water. Dodie found this activity for him and he loves it. Every morning after breakfast he asks for his water to paint with. Then I had to throw in a picture of Cash, our new puppy. He has made things a bit more exciting around our house, but overall he is a good puppy.
Mason has had a virus this week that has consisted of a fever and grouchiness. I took him to the doctor on Tuesday because I knew there had to be more to it than fever, but he was all clear everywhere. Finally today he woke up without any fever. Praise the Lord!!!!
