Look at him go!!!

As most of you know, Mason walked around our entire house about three weeks ago all by himself. We were all so proud of him, but then he refused to walk without someone's finger from then on. Well, Friday was the day! Mason woke up from his nap and we went outside to play. He decided that this was the time to take off. He walked alone everywhere! On the porch, to the swing, down the driveway to the mailbox, to "catch" butterflies. It was like a switch was turned on. He hasn't stopped walking since. It is so amazing to just see him walking around the corner. He has been scooting for so long, that to see him walk is truly unbelievable. He is so proud of himself and so are we!

Mother's Day

Look at my two handsome boys! I had the most amazing Mother's Day. We went to church and Mason made me the sweetest card in the nursery with his hand print and picture. It is truly a treasure. Then we met Mom, Dad, Brian, Kara and the triplets for lunch. It was actually pretty calm for the majority of the time. Way to go! Then these two lovely guys picked me up in the parking lot and drove me to the car. How sweet!
I am so truly blessed and honored to be the mommy of this precious little boy. He inspires me to be the best I can be everyday, so I can set a godly example for him. He brings a smile to my face and joy to my life like I could never imagine. And Scott is amazing! He treats me like his princess and is an incredible daddy to Mason. I could not have a better husband and father for my son.
I hope all of you moms had an amazing day as well. Happy Mother's Day everyday!!!!

Rainy Day Fun

What an artist we have! Mason was painting for the first time and loved dipping his paintbrush into the paint over and over and over again.

Stacking stumps to build a mini-bonfire. Gig'em Aggies!

With all of the rain this week we have been a litte stir crazy. Especially since Mason spent all weekend outside with his grandparents while Scott and I were away. All he wants to do it go outside to pick up sticks and rocks and play in his new sandbox from Nana and Papa. Hopefully some pretty weather will be here soon. Until then we will continue to spend many hours at the Children's Museum for a change of scenery.
